Information on the tyre:

The characteristic feature of Pirelli P Zero Nero is the asymmetric tread and the high quality . Pirelli’s tyres guarantee precise cornering with no loss of grip. The product retains its best performance even during a dynamic driving style. Its major advantage is the very attractive design , which is essential for true automotive enthusiasts.  P Zero Nero tyres features silica and a carbon black enhanced tread compound moulded into a subtle wide rib tread design to increase the rigidity of the tread. This resists deformation and enhances the grip and steering response on a variety of road surfaces while enhancing resistance to irregular wear and generating low noise levels. The tyre retains all characteristics, even at high temperatures.

The asymmetric tread pattern allows the tyre to maintain a high level of stability even in case of sudden manoeuvres. The tread design makes the braking distance as short as possible. There is an excellent cooperation between a car and a tyre when it comes to rapid starting and acceleration.  The unique Pirelli design also ensures excellent performance on a wet surface. To enable this, there are four wide circumferential grooves, which drain water from the centre of the tyre to its edges. The shape of the tyre tread completely minimises aquaplaning.

Pirelli P Zero Nero is a product of the highest quality that guarantees a great comfort of driving. Its quietness inside the vehicle is a definite benefit Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres are fitted as standard in car brands such as Alfa Romeo, Audi, Ford, Jaguar, Lancia, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot and Seat.

Pirelli is one of the most exclusive manufacturers of Ultra High Performance tyres. The Italian company was established in 1872. It is the 5th largest tyre manufacturer in the world . The proof of the Pirelli tyres highest quality is their appearance at the 2012 Formula 1 races

P ZERO NERO Reviews

I don't understand why the rating is so low for this tyres. I have been driving very aggressive and they hold the road very well. Since I have so much power at the rear wheels. They actually grips very well. Noise is not a issue as with this super low profile tyres. And they are much quieter and more comfortable than my Golf Gti Mk6 with 225x40x18 tyres

I've been using these tyres on my vw passat driving very soften quick and hard these Tyre perform very well in all situation even at speed above 200kmph, obedient and safe. Cannot understand the bad review from people concerning these tyres. Only thing compare to my previous Dunlop le Mans, the steering wheel feel extremely light too much according to my taste but we get use to that very quick.. Would buy then again most probably.

I have to admit, I bought these tyres based on the reviews, especially when I saw the price. Dry: The grip and handling are above average when the temperature is below 20°C, as soon as it gets hotter, the performance gets progressively worse. And it isn't a minor difference, it is a very noticeable change in behavior. Cornering speeds are lower, tyres start to squeal pretty early, steering response is next to none and the overall ride is wobbly. Wet: Performance in wet is average at best, but the loss of traction is predictable and not dangerous. You need to be careful when going through puddles of water, the tyre really likes to lose the traction even at low speeds and as the tread wears down, it is getting worse. Overal: I have never had such mixed feelings about a tyre in my life. It can be pretty good when the conditions are right, but the "good performance window" is so small that you constantly need to keep an eye on the temperature and road conditions and adapt your driving style. Comfort: I can't judge as the ride in my car is quite bumpy regardless of the tyres I use, but it seems that the noise is low and ride quality is fine as well. I was previously using Conti Premium Contact 5 and will be switching to Michelin PS4S even though the Pirellis are not nearly worn out yet.

A very good Tyre. These pirelli P Zero Nero have all the grip I need for the way I drive. I never drive near the limit of grip but I don't drive slowly and I like to press on sometimes when it's save to do so. I mainly drive on A and B roads.

Hey Since I used this site to choose my tires, here is my review on Pirelli PZero Nero I'm have them from 2 seasons now. Great tires for summer ! great grip on dry and wet (not really great at fast cornering, but maybe I wanted to have a bit of split). I drive mostly city, but been outside for few road trips, and they do great on highway. Downside: u have to get use to them in wet conditions. Did hit few potholes(since I can recall it,they were big) and no problem so far , no bubbles or flats. Will buy them again, when their live is over.

They felt good when new, although their grip was so-so for a 285 tire. After one track day the tires melted and are heat cycled out. Tons of tread left, but useless as they now have zero grip. Will not buy again, and do not recommend.
