This year Japanesee manufacturer released W.drive V905 which has upgraded properties.

Yokohama W.drive V905 has a strenghtened shoulder comparing to it’s previous version to make it much more resistant to damage. Since it is the most insecured place on the tire, manufacturers keep on trying to make it as resistant as possible.

The tyre compound is a mixture or orange oil and silicon. Such mixture keeps tyre flexibility at low temperatures, on the other hand is stiff & stable at high temperatures increasing adhesion to snowy icy and wet roads. In winter it is essential to remember to have proper tyres dedicated to the conditions. Such a compound will allow you to safely travel in medium snow or light ice.

Yokohama W.drive V905 has an innovate tread pattern to provide great water and snow dispersing. It is efficient also with draining slush which is considered by 90% of car drivers as the prime danger on winter roads. With this tyre the risk is at its minimum.

Lighter tyre construction of Yokohama W.drive V905 alows you to save up on fuel. The lowered torque gives you more miles at the same amount of fuel.

Wdrive V905 Reviews

Tire feels nice on dry roads and in fresh snow. Wet grip should be better, but at least you get good feedback when aqua planning will start.

Two winters on these W Drive tyres now. No problems in the snows of winter 2017-18 in a pennine area with gradients and with a steep driveway too. Plenty of grip. Car always feels planted and solid in cornering. Very good wet and slushy braking characteristics. Slightly more noisy than summer Bridgestones in the dry. Definitely would buy again.

Very balanced tyres with good handling in all winter conditions like snow and wet. Very comfortable and silent. I used the tyres for 3 winter seasons and also in third season I was able to drive normally in all conditions. Deifinitely recommended!
