Yokohama BluEarth Winter V905 is one of the latest offerings from this popular Japanese manufacturer of premium tyres. This winter tyre for passenger cars is designed to meet the expectations of the most demanding drivers. It is made of high quality materials which are resistant to low temperatures, so even during a very cold winter, drivers can enjoy the selected model at full performance. The directional tread system is responsible for removing water and slush, and ensuring stability and the accurate response to the commands of the driver. The car behaves reliably and the drive is safer.

The tyre surface is arranged in very wide and oblique grooves, ensuring a more accurate drying of the tyre. They minimise the risk of dangerous aquaplaning, which may occur, e.g., when the car drives through a large puddles or wet areas. The designers of this tyre used rubber with addition of silica and this optimised blend ensures a low rolling resistance which results in lower fuel consumption. Another very important feature is also the area of the tyre footprint. The bigger it is, the safer is the drive. For producing this blend, Yokohama uses range peel oil, a natural ingredient which makes the tyres relatively soft, increasing the contact surface of the tyre with the road. This procedure ensures better grip even during dynamic driving and allows you to enjoy the full performance of the tyre throughout the its operational life. Yokohama also focuses on production with the lowest possible impact on the environment. The use of orange peel oil in the tyres results in a decrease in the amount of petroleum materials used.

BluEarth Winter V905 Reviews

Great winter tyres, on dry these Yokohamas are like summer tyres, grip is excellent. On wet there is no problem, even a few cm of water was not a big deal but that was not with highway speed, up to 80kmph. Snow traction is great, no problem in deep snow but I had only one trip on snow in town so it is hard to say how good they are on snow. They are comfortable, but should be better. Will buy again definitelly. Thread pattern is similar to Continental, but I like this one more :D.
