Tyre details:

The Nexen N8000 has been designed and manufactured for passenger cars. It is noted for its asymmetric tread pattern. This arrangement of the tread blocks means that the tyre performs well in different weather conditions. One side is responsible for stable acceleration, stability and tyre adherence, whilst the other side of the tread ensures good water dispersal from under the wheel and reduces the risk of aquaplaning.

Nexen tyres are noted for their excellent value for money. The high quality materials used to manufacture these tyres extends their lifetime. The Nexen N8000 ensures a quiet and comfortable driving experience thanks to its optimised tread pattern and the use of an innovative rubber compound with sound-muffling properties. The latest technology used in the production processes and materials containing the appropriate admixtures make this an environmentally friendly product. The tyre's environmentally friendly credentials are down to the fact that reduced rolling resistance means that the car uses less fuel and produces fewer harmful emissions. The model is an excellent solution for drivers looking for a summer tyre with optimal parameters, good grip in any weather and driving comfort.

Nexen was founded in the 1940s and its name comes from the amalgamation of two English words: "next" and "century". This South Korean company specialises in the production of economy tyres which, thanks to their reasonable price and balanced performance on any surface, are popular with drivers all over the world. Nexen currently employs around 2000 employees and its products are distributed to over 120 countries worldwide.

N8000 Reviews

Bought these to replace my ps3s, which were amazing in wet and dry conditions, however budget constraints meant had to replace with something cheaper. Initially for the first 500 miles or so they were awful, then after dropping my tyre pressure and they had worn in, they have started to perform well, pretty grippy in wet and dry conditions, can confidently hit bends at similar speeds with ps3s on, will probably try something else but for the money well worth it, far better than other budget brands hands down! Give them a try if you're on a budget, you don't b disappointed.

The tyres have done a few thousand miles . They are very good I the wet especially going through deepest puddles with ne steering pull. Impressive. Handling is fine surprisingly.I expected a lot poorer results frankly. I am used to company cars fitted with the usual premium tyres so it has come as a pleasant surprise how good these are. They had been fitted to the MX5 by the previous owner 2000 miles ago. I had decided to dump them as soon as I had the car and get some Contis .But the more I use them the more I am thinking I would be chucking away a perfectly good tyre. There is a lot of snobbery in tyre ownership and normally I would not have put these on my car. I would have been wrong .I drive quickly, when safe, on country roads so I have given these tyres a fair test not just on motorway miles.
