Tyre details:

The Kleber Krisalp HP3 is an improved version of the Kleber Krisalp HP2, which was highly rated on our portal by over 500 drivers.

Are you looking for a winter tyre that combines good performance and safety with a reasonable price tag? The Kleber Krisalp HP3 does exactly that. The numerous, optimally arranged blades guarantee driving safety on snowy surfaces.

One of Kleber's priorities when designing the tyre was outstanding performance in challenging winter conditions, which is why the tyre features a directional tread noted for its superb performance on typical winter roads. The V-shaped grooves and "Toboggan" drainage channels improve the dispersal of snow and slush and reduce the risk of aquaplaning.

The engineers working on the tyre paid a great deal of attention not only to the tread design, but also to the special rubber compound based on functional elastomers. This made it possible to reduce braking distances on icy roads by one metre compared to the previous model, the Kleber Krisalp HP2.

The compound maintains flexibility at very low temperatures, which helps ensure good grip in all conditions. The components used to manufacture the tyre are noted for their durability, which results in longer lifetimes for the Krisalp HP3. The compound is also lightweight, which limits rolling resistance, thus reducing fuel consumption. The model is therefore cost-effective not only because of its reasonable price, but also thanks to its extended lifetime and economical running costs.

Its optimised design guarantees excellent grip in adverse weather conditions, making driving safe and comfortable not only on straight roads, but also when cornering and during sudden manoeuvres. The Kleber Krisalp HP3 is the ideal solution for all drivers who want to take advantage of the full range of performance features, regardless of the time of year.

Kleber is a French-owned brand belonging to Michelin, one of the largest tyre manufacturers in the world. The company markets tyres for a wide range of vehicles and the high quality of Kleber products is evident from the fact that they are used as original parts by car manufacturers such as Renault.

So far, so good. I have driven them for ca. 6000 kms. The wear is absolutely ok, dry grip also ok, wet grip really good. Very comfortable tyre, low noise, good traction. I think it is a very good choice for a good prise, good value for many. Have not try them in snow and on icy roads, but today we had some sleety rain, and it was ok, good wet braking, handling and grip. I had Semperit Master Grip before Kléber Krisalp HP3 on my car, they were ok, but the KKHP3 is better. I warmly recommend this tyre.

Have driven them for something close to 5500 miles now , the wear is realy good, assuming that new tire has 8 mm thread depth they now have 7mm left on them. Not a calm driver by any means, corner hard, accelerate fast (although no burnout :) ). Find them very comfy on a highway, no matter wet or dry. Have yet to hit a serious snowfall to see how they perform there, but on a thin layer of frozen snow they seem more than Ok. And the price is good too, so up until this point I`m happy with them.
