Its my wife's car that the 245/30R20 are on and for grip & handling in the dry they are "very good",most tyres today for this price range are. Its when it come to the wet that these stand out as one of the best I've driven on in the wet. Price & wear should be the last thing you need to worry about if you are driving a $80 to $110k car. Yes you can buy cheaper or buy ones that gives more mileage. If the roads have been dry for a week or two & it starts to rain and someone pulls out quickly in front of you, because you have left space & stops & you hit the brakes & end up in there boot, I Bet price & wear is the last thing on your mind, Its times like this I'm glad we purchased Continental Sport Contact 6, I do rotate every 3,000 miles

Fantastic grip when cornering in the dry. I haven't driven on them in the wet much, but when I have there haven't been any grip issues (vehicle is AWD.) As far as comfort and noise go- I can't say they rate too highly on my vehicle. You can feel every bump and the road noise on coarse road surfaces is very pronounced. I'll be dropping the pressures a little bit to see if that improves things. The vehicle is lowered along with other suspension mods. The rim protector is very slim and is useless for even minor rubs on kerbs when parking. If you want lots of grip- buy them. The short life span posted in other reviews doesn't concern me as I only average around 3000km per year.
