Continental ContiPremiumContact is a premium summer tyre designed for passenger cars. This model offers a safe and comfortable drive regardless of weather or road conditions. The tyre has an asymmetric tread pattern that provides excellent performance both on dry and wet roads. Specially profiled grooves protect the tyre against aquaplaning and make Continental ContiPremiumContact effortlessly grip the road.

The tyre has a modern tread profile for very good stability on straight roads, turns and for shorter braking distances. During braking manoeuvres, the contact surface of Continental ContiPremiumContact is increased, so braking forces are transferred more effectively than in other tyres of the same class. On everyday drives, the elastic tread elements narrow, helping to effectively reduce the risk of aquaplaning. Wide circumferential grooves in the central part of the tread also increase the grip and, combined with the lateral channels, effectively remove water from the tyre surface. The asymmetric tread is also very suitable for dry roads. The blocks on the outer shoulder of the tyre guarantee stability and precise control. A quiet and comfortable drive is achieved by the use outer closed shoulder, which reduces sounds emitted by the tyre. Engineers have also taken care of lowering rolling resistance to reduce fuel consumption. Silica added to the blend has increased the strength of Continental ContiPremiumContact, making the tyre more resistant to mechanical damage.

This tires were fitted on my car as OEM. If passed 58.000km so far and they have still around 4mm. The wear is fantastic. I plan to change them next year because of the age. And I'm sure they would last 80K+ km as I drive very easy, no great accelerations nor brakes, and in the speed limits. But now they are 7 and a half years old, plan to change them at 8 years. As far as the grip all this years, it's excellent. Now I can feel a little wobbling on bad roads but on a good tarmac they are still excellent, both dry and wet.
