The presented tyre is marked with 3PMSF symbol (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake). It means that the tyre meets the EU requirements for winter tyres. The symbol is awarded after thorough tests of a tyre model in terms of snow grip.

Kumho KC15 is a winter tyre of the medium class with the asymmetric tread pattern. Kumho brand is an independent, Korean producer. Kumho KC15 is directed to 4x4 cars. It guarantees good driving characteristics in all winter conditions. It features modern tread which guarantees proper traction control and adhesion even on the snowy and icy surface. The tyre also guarantees great driving comfort. It is durable which contributes to long lifespan.

Kumho KC15 has been equipped with sturdy, asymmetric tread which guarantees high performance on each surface. The tyre’s carving has been divided into 2 zones. The tyre’s outer zone has straight construction. It ensures optimal traction on the wet road. Wide and deep circumferential canals efficiently remove water from the tyre’s contact surface. This is also a protection from hydro-and snowplaning. The inner zone ensures safe driving on the muddy and snowy road. V-shaped blocks arrangement has been applied. Wide grooves’ system with numerous bends ensures proper adhesion even on the thick and packed snow. Sharp blocks edges bite into surface; therefore, the tyre does not skid. Kumho KC15 tyre copes equally well on the dry surface. Wide shoulders, which stabilize the driving route and distribute the pressures on the tyre’s surface, ensure optimal pressures’ distribution. Therefore, uniform tread wear has been obtained. Sinuous shaped sipes’ cuttings system has been used to guarantee better adhesion on the slippery surface. They ensure biting into surface effect. Tyre’s central rib, responsible for transferring the steering wheel movements onto the road, has a herringbone pattern, owing to which it adjusts to all irregularities on the road. Special grooves between the blocks were used to reduce the vibes and hums level.

Winter tyre Kumho KC15 has been designed for the passenger cars of the medium and higher class. It is especially recommended for the 4x4 modern, luxurious sedans and estate cars, such as: VW Passat 4Motion, Audi Quatro as well as BMW with the Xdrive option. It belongs to the mid class ensuring perfect ratio of the quality to the price.

IZen RV KC15 Reviews

We have these tyres on both our 4x4s, specifically an Audi A6 all-road and a Toyota Landcruiser, driven predominantly on country roads with occasional motorway journeys. Very pleased with performance, braking, and grip in ice /snow. Road noise no worse than original summer tyres, and wear is very even, the tyres are much more resilient than expected (in fact, we haven't bothered putting the summer tyres back on). I plan to put these on my new Landcruiser for the forthcoming winter.
Absolutely perfect tires for temperatures bellow 7°C. Confident on dry and wet road. Breaking and handling are exquisite. As it concerns snow performance - the best winter SUV tires for deep snow, snow-covered asphalt and ice. No compromise with winter traction. Noise comfort is surprisingly good having in mind the lable that claimed they are very noisy tires. Hardly hear them bellow 100 km/h. Michelin and Continental winter tires with their commercial campaigns just seem ridiculous. They are more expensive in a way they cannot live up to their higher price in terms of winter performance. I claim the Kumho KC 15 are even better in the snow and ice.
