The presented tyre is marked with 3PMSF symbol (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake). It means that the tyre meets the EU requirements for winter tyres. The symbol is awarded after thorough tests of a tyre model in terms of snow grip.

Goodyear UltrGrip is a winter tyre of the premium class. Goodyear is a renowned producer of the high-performance tyres. Goodyear Ultra Grip tyre is a blend of endurance, high safety level and driving comfort in all winter conditions. Modern tread guarantees optimal grip even by the higher speeds. Moreover, the tyre ensures high mileages.

Goodyear UltraGrip is a radial tyre which was designed owing to the modern technologies and high-quality materials used. The tread was constructed from rubber compound with the addition of silica compound and India rubber-polymers. The tyre does not lose flexibility even by the temperatures below 0 C degrees. It shows strong anti-slippery properties. What is more, it is highly resistant to attrition contributing to the longer tyre’s performance. In order to ensure high performance on the wet surface, directional tread pattern was applied (V-TREAD technology) which was equipped with additional side grooves. The wholeness forms dynamic construction which ensures quick tread drainage. Water and slush are disposed from all tyre’s parts aside which, to high extent, reduces the hydro-and snowplaning occurrences. Uniquely shaped blades were used to improve performance during driving on the fresh snow. The tyre’s surface has been covered with sipes’ cuttings which thrust into surface during braking. Owing to that, the car stops faster. Additionally, sipes prevent the tyre from skidding during moving out and accelerating. Reinforced shoulder’ zone improves performance during driving on the irregular, frozen surface e.g. driving in the potholes. Inside Goodyear UltraGrip tyre two steel belts reinforced with additional polyester warp layer were used. Owing to them, the tyre is stiffer, does not undergo deformation and guarantees lateral grip during taking the bends. Designers also took care of lowering the noise level by optimal blocks layout in order to lower the production of vibes and hums.

Goodyear UltraGrip tyre is designed for the big passenger cars. It is suitable only for driving in winter. It is recommended for the big sedan cars and modern, SUV-type cars. It is recommended to mount the same tyres on all the cars’ axes. Goodyear UltraGrip has Snow-flake-in-the-mountain mark on the side wall of the tyre which is the confirmation of the exceptional, winter properties of the tyre.

Goodyear UltraGrip is a winter tyre designed for the big passenger cars. It belongs to the premium class which guarantees highest quality.

UltraGrip SUV Reviews

i have driven this tyres for about 22000 km(aprox. 14000 miles) for 4 winters and they behaved great for the first 3 but now they've reached their wear limit, so i would say that you can use safely this model for around 15000 miles(25000km) or 3 years. as the performence goes, they behave very good on dry and wet surfaces, i used them all year round and the car felt really dinamic as if it was wearing summer tires. in the snow they are pretty good, i didn't get stuck anywere but they react a bit late on direction shift, meaning that the car goes a little straight when you turn the whell and react after a little time. on ice there are no problems but because they are a litle stiffer than the ordinary winter tires, i would say that the grip is not excellent. overall it is a good tire that you can depand on for a limited number of miles(km) all year long, not only in the winter time.
