The Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT offers excellent traction, accuracy and a good response to different surface conditions. The model offers stability at high speeds, when negotiating corners and during sudden manoeuvres.

The Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT is frequently selected as an original part by leading car manufacturers, installed as a factory original in cars including: Volkswagen Golf, Skoda Octavia, Seat Leon, Toledo, Altea, Jaguar XJ, Bentley Mulsanne. Its asymmetric tread pattern means that the tyre performs exceptionally well on both wet and dry surfaces. The tyre offers optimal performance for a dynamic style of driving, as well as excellent specifications on dry, winding roads. The model is noted for its excellent grip on any surface, among other attributes. The compound used to make the Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT has been enriched with the carbon black used in racing cars, which has improved its traction specifications and helped reduce braking distances. The use of Dunlop Touch Technology, which combines several advanced functions, means that the driver has greater control over the vehicle and the tyre responds well to the type of surface and road conditions. This precision is particularly important to drivers of more powerful cars.

The Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT has been designed to withstand deformation and to maintain all of its features, even at the highest speeds. This makes the tyre more stable and means that the tread wears more slowly, extending its lifetime. The even distribution of pressure acting on the Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT means that the model wears evenly, guaranteeing the tyre's full performance specifications for its entire lifetime. This model is an excellent solution for demanding drivers looking for a summer tyre that offers not only good grip and durability, but also safety and an enjoyable driving experience.

SP Sport Maxx GT Reviews

These were the OE fitment for my Audi A5 Quattro. I have had ~21,000 miles out of the fronts, with a mixed style of driving. I would have expected much less, due to being low profile tyres, being on a relatively big / heavy car and a mix of driving style. I am very impressed with the wear rates. I have no complaints with the grip levels provided in wet or dry. They are a great combination with Audi's quattro system. I would have been tempted to change to the Michelin Pilot Super Sports as the fronts have recently worn out. However from reading up on the Quattro system and mixing patterns front and back, I have decided to keep the keep the front and rear tyres the same. Do your research and make your own decision on this... Great tyres!
These were fitted from new and have 29k on them. I have a new set ordered and am about to put them on again. I was particularly impressed with how well they handled but also how comfortable the vehicle was considering it’s weight on these tyres. Tyre feedback was excellent but the main factor for buying them again was the performance they gave over such a long life of 29k
Good performance tyres, they look very nice. excellent grip on motorways, occasionally skidding on quick start, need to be cautious in wet weather, and a big No No on snow. they are hard and not comfortable in bad city roads. after 14000 miles from brand new car 3mm remains in front and 4mm back
