Continental Conti.eContact is a product of the German tyre company and the most important parameter of this tyre is its low rolling resistance. This model is available in different sizes than standard tyres for passenger cars. This tyre has rolling resistance up to 30% lower, when compared to these standard models. The elastic side walls are a very important component of Conti.eContact, as they prevent energy loss even on uneven and bumpy roads. The designers of this tyre model focused on the economic aspect of tyres, but they also took care of other important requirements that must be met by a safe tyre. The tyre tread has an optimised structure. Its contour is flat, smooth and has wide perimeter grooves that secure tyre performance in wet conditions. It is worth noting that Continental Conti.eContact was selected as standard equipment on the Renault Twizy.

Manufacturer Info: Continental is a German company, regarded as one of the largest tyre manufacturers in the world. Continental products are classified as premium (highest) class. They are highly appreciated both by drivers and the organisers of prestigious tyre tests. This proves that tyres with the Continental logo are regularly ranked in the highest tier in tyre tests. In addition, Continental tyres are often fitted as standard on vehicles produced by brands like BMW, Ford and Porsche. Continental was established in 1871 and since then it has been successfully developing its operations in the industry. The company owns also other tyre brands, including Uniroyal, Semperit, Viking and General Tire.

Standard on car, didn't survive a winter of potholes! Replaced but lasted only 15,000 miles. Very expensive product will not replace with like - stick with Michelin.
Fitted as standard to my new car. They "seem" to be OK but as a Summer tyre, are not what I would have fitted for preference - desirably needing a much higher rating to give confidence when driving in both wet & snowy conditions. Although these tyres have yet to reach 2000 miles, I will be changing them for either Nokian or Goodyear 4 seasons generation 2 tyres in the very near future.
